A general view of the 14 storey, glass fronted, P & O head office building at 122 Leadenhall Street, London EC3, which was completed in 1969. This tension structure with a compressed concrete core was designed by the architects Gollins Melvin Ward & Partners. On completion, it was considered one of the most complex glass fronted buildings in the UK. It was demolished from the bottom up in 2008, to be replaced by the 224 metre tall skyscraper Leadenhall Building. A vertical format image.
