Two gentlemen standing on the quay alongside the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Chakdara (1951) at Sunderland, Durham. They are dressed in suits and are facing the camera. The photographer is looking across the quay showing the port side of the ship from the rear of the bridge to number 4 hold. A dockside crane is in the centre of the picture and the end wall of the 2-storey concrete storage shed is on the left. Negatives PM1792/4A to PM1796/30A were taken on the same occasion.
