The students and other passengers are standing below and abaft lifeboat number 2 and the Rock of Gibraltar can be seen in the background. The rock has a crescent of cloud above it. The photographer is R. Spillman and the ship is on a cruise from Southampton to the Holy Land and Greece. A vertical format image. Negatives PM1818/5 to PM1820/16 were taken on the same day.
