Linnet (1860) and Pigeon (1860)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the sheer lines, body plan and longitudinal half breadth, as designed, of the Britomart class gunboats Linnet (1860) and Pigeon (1860). The drawing bears the signature of Admiral Sir Baldwin Wake Walker [Surveyor of the Navy 1848-1859], Isaac Watts [First Assistant Surveyor 1859], Joseph Large [Second Assistant Surveyor 1859] and James Luke [Inspecting Officer 1859]. The title of the plan is "Sheer draught of Gun Boats of 268 Tons and 60 H.P. building by contract by Messrs Briggs at Sunderland".
