A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Chakla (1954) alongside Number 15 shed in the South West India Dock, London. She has maintenance boards suspended over the bow and they have been used to enable the ship's name to be changed. The ship arrived on 2 January as the Swiftpool and sailed on 31 January as the Chakla. Negatives PM1864/28 to PM1865/34 were taken on the same day.
