An unidentified cargo vessel working cargo with local lighters and junks alongside in Penang harbour. The starboard side of the ship is shown, taken from close to the stern looking forward. Lighter number P.1452 is alongside aft and is laden with steel oil drums. Outboard of P.1452 is an heavily built wooden lighter and ahead of them are two 2-masted junks. Negative number PM1913/4 is of the same vessel and negatives numbers PM1912/2 to PM1916/26 were taken on the same day.
