Muslim crew members on the poop on board the Bank Line cargo vessel Inverbank (1924) at the end of the Ramadan service. The service is to celebrate the Mohammedan New Year's Day and the men are hugging each other. The photographer, who was an apprentice serving on board the ship, is looking aft and to starboard and aft. The ship was on a voyage from Batavia to the west coast of South America.
