The photographer was serving as an apprentice on board the Bank Line cargo vessel Inverbank (1924) in port at Callao and was on a shore excursion. Slide 16 from the "Apprentice Boy", Captain Henry P. Bird's lecture about his life as an apprentice for Bank Line in the period 1937-1941. The lecture consists of 39 slides.
