One of the crew is looking over the starboard quarter rail at the photographer who is in a boat. The photographer is an apprentice serving on board the ship, which is in port to discharge a cargo of scrap iron from the U.S.A. Slide 25 from the "Apprentice Boy", Captain Henry P. Bird's lecture about his life as an apprentice for Bank Line in the period 1937-1941. The lecture consists of 39 slides.
