A close near beam view of the starboard secondary 6 inch battery on the battleship Nelson (1925). The photographer is in a boat just off the starboard side of the ship looking slightly aft showing S1 and S3 6 inch gun turrets trained fore and aft and S2 turret is trained on the starboard beam. There are no tompions in the gun muzzles and an awning is rigged over the quarterdeck.
