On board the general cargo ship Eskdalegate (1969) loading timber at Ronnebyhamn, Sweden. The photographer is looking forward, slightly to starboard and down from the port side of the bridge showing bundled sawn timber being lowered into number two hold by a quayside mobile crane. A man is in the hold to position the bundle. This is Slide 4 of Captain Henry P. Bird's lecture titled "Lumber, Lorries and Luck", about his service as Second Officer on board the Eskdalegate from 13 November 1976 to May 1977. The lecture consists of 44 out of 45 slides (Slide 1 is missing).
