Her starboard anchor is deployed and a brow is rigged to a shell door forward. The stern of the ship is hidden by the terminal building. The photographer is looking north from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia This is Slide 18 of Captain Henry P. Bird's lecture titled "Lumber, Lorries and Luck", about his service as Second Officer on board the Eskdalegate from 13 November 1976 to May 1977. The lecture consists of 44 out of 45 slides (Slide 1 is missing).
