Twelve trainee boys by the ship's wheel on board the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) while motoring in Spithead. They are gathered round a bearded man who is wearing a U.S.N. anorak and is believed to be Captain Glynn Griffiths. The boys are all dressed in a standard uniform of jeans, a roll neck Guernsey with the name Sir Winston Churchill on it, and a woollen hat. One of the trainees is wearing an armband with F1 on it.
