A snow covered landmass on the north bank of the river is in the background. This is Slide 11 of Captain Henry P. Bird's lecture titled "Fort Chambly (1977)", about his service as Second Officer on board the Fort Chambly (1961) from Sapele, Nigeria, to Montreal, Canada, 28 November 1977 to 4 January 1978. The lecture consists of 18 slides.
