An oblique right side view of the figurehead of the 3rd Rate ship-of-the-line Poictiers (1809) inside Sheerness Dockyard. The figurehead is protected by a small wooden roof supported on two strutted legs. The ship's name on the plinth is given as Poitiers. A wooden fence is behind the figurehead. On the right are the single storey former Dockyard College Engineering Laboratory and the two-storey Expense Accounts Office.
