Taking in the Bermudan mizzen on board the 3-masted topsail schooner Malcolm Miller (1968) while entering Portsmouth Harbour. A boy trainee is at the helm concentrating on the compass heading. Some of the trainees are taking in the mizzen sail and the captain is leaning against the port side of the bridge looking up harbour. He is in full uniform and has three rows of medal ribbons on his jacket. The photographer is looking aft from to port of the centreline on the deckhouse top. The end of Broad Street, Old Portsmouth, is in the left background and Gosport is in the right background.
