The helmsman's position has got a canvas cover lashed to the steel frame. The mizzen is set and the ship is on the starboard tack, heeling slightly to port. The photographer is looking aft from the centreline on the deckhouse top. Negatives numbers P50389 to P50391 were taken on the same occasion.
