Three boy trainees hauling on one of the jib sheets on board the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) while under sail in the Solent area. They are on the starboard side of the foredeck and the jib sheet, which is braided rope, is rove through a single pulley block fixed to the deck. They are standing by the side of the accommodation skylight. The photographer is looking aft from the starboard side of the foredeck showing that the foresail and mizzen are set but the mainsail is stowed.
