Young male trainees working on the bowsprit running rigging on board the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) while under sail in the Solent area. One of the lads is on the port side of the bowsprit netting, two are on the starboard side of the netting and one is on the foredeck to port of the heel of the bowsprit. The inner and outer jibs and the fore staysail are set and the flying jib is stowed. The port anchor davit is rigged.
