A port side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the 3-masted topsail schooner Malcolm Miller (1968) under sail arriving in Southampton Docks.
A port side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the 3-masted topsail schooner Malcolm Miller (1968) under sail arriving in Southampton Docks. She only has her flying jib and fore staysail set and her inner jib is shortened. She has a large number of baggywrinkles on her mizzen stays. The tips of her main and mizzen masts are out of the picture. Alongside a quay in the left background is an unidentified vessel which is believed to be a Japanese Government training ship, seen from abaft her port beam. All of her forepart is out of the picture and her stern is partially hidden by the Malcolm Miller. Beyond the Miller's stern is Alexandra Towing's tug Ventnor (1965).
