A full-length portrait of Captain Peter Wyatt on the deckhouse top on board the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) while under way in the Southampton Water. He has a pair of Chinon 10x40 roof prism binoculars round his neck and has his hands in his pockets and is standing to starboard of the centreline just ahead of the bridge. He has a crew of young lady trainees and one of them is at the helm. Both the main and mizzen sails are stowed The photographer is looking aft from the starboard side of the deckhouse top.
