A slightly distant starboard quarter view, taken from wide off the stern, of the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) under sail in Spithead.
A slightly distant starboard quarter view, taken from wide off the stern, of the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) under sail in Spithead. She has eight of her nine fore-and-aft sails set, the only one not in use being the flying jib. She is on the port tack in a good breeze and all of her trainees are gathered on the starboard side to look at their sister vessel, the Malcolm Miller (1968), on which the photographer is sailing.
