The foremast of the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) being lowered onto the ship while she is alongside the East Branch Dock in Tilbury Docks, Essex, during her annual refit. A quayside crane is lowering the mast into its position on the ship. The Sir Winston Churchill is berthed port side to the quay and is seen from ahead of her port bow with her mainmast in position but the mizzen is still missing. Astern of the Churchill is the cargo liner Glenfalloch (1963). A vertical format negative. Negative numbers P50605 to P50630 were taken on the same occasion.
