Crane number E883 lifting the foremast of the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) on the quayside in the East Branch Dock in Tilbury Docks, Essex, during the ship's annual refit. The mast is about to be re-stepped in its position on the ship. The Churchill is berthed port side to the quay and astern of her is the cargo liner Glenfalloch (1963). On the opposite side of the dock is the cargo ship Montevideo (1954). A vertical format negative. Negative numbers P50605 to P50630 were taken on the same occasion.
