A man adjusting one of the navigation lights on the foremast of the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) on the quayside in the East Branch Dock in Tilbury Docks, Essex, during the ship's annual refit. He is laying on his back under the mast and his left hand is inside the lamp. The photographer is looking across the quay and the ship is in the background. She is berthed port side to the quay and her bow, stern and the top of her mainmast are out of the picture. Her mizzen mast is not in position. Negative numbers P50605 to P50630 were taken on the same occasion.
