His identity is not known, he is wearing a woollen jumper with shoulder bars and is looking forward and up from the port side of the bridge. The photographer is looking aft from the port side of the deckhouse top. A vertical format negative. Negative numbers PM11657/40 to PM11657/42 and PM11658/0 to PM11658/2 were taken on the same occasion.
