Men working on the masts of the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) in a large corrugated iron shed in the East Branch Dock, Tilbury, Essex, during her annual refit. The masts are supported on wooden blocks and the men are tying the stays to the masts, in readiness for refitting the masts to the ship. The mizzen mast is on the left, the mainmast is in the centre and the foremast is on the right, nearest the shed wall.
