The bridge and after deck of the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) while under sail in Spithead with girl trainees on board. The photographer is looking aft from the just to starboard of the centreline on the deckhouse top. Captain Glynn Griffiths and the Chief Officer are on the starboard side of the bridge and a girl is at the helm. A girl with the M1 armband is acting as starboard lookout. The Bermudan mizzen is set but the mainsail is stowed. A vertical format negative.
