A close starboard midship detail of Royal Navy battleship Neptune (1909) just under way in the Thames Estuary.
A close starboard midship detail of Royal Navy battleship Neptune (1909) just under way in the Thames Estuary. Only the forward two turrets and the bridge structure are in the picture. The foremast and the top of the forefunnel are out of the picture. One of the crew is on a platform abreast the bridge taking soundings using a lead line. The negative is very slightly out of focus.
