A close view of the starboard side of the forward part of the Royal Navy armoured cruiser Black Prince (1904) at anchor, possibly in The Downs. She is wearing standard funnel bands and her starboard boat boom is swung outboard and raised. Her starboard forward anchor is being raised. The photographer is in a boat off the starboard quarter looking forward and to port and everything aft of number 3 funnel is out of the picture. Negatives numbers N18639 to N18644 were taken on the same occasion.
