A close view of the starboard side of the stern of the Japanese Navy battleship Shikishima (1898) on the slipway of the Thames Iron Works shipyard at Blackwall, London. The hull is fully plated, the stern walk is in position and the starboard propeller and rudder are fitted. One of the blades of the propeller is marked "C.100. Star No. 3. 2650." A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera A.
