A starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Royal Navy battleship Cornwallis (1901) sliding down the ways on launching at the Thames Iron Works shipyard at Blackwall, London. The photographer is on the viewing platform to the left of the starboard sliding way as the hull moves down the ways and enters the water. There is very slight image movement. A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer is using Camera A.
