A slightly distant port side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the Royal Navy battleship Cornwallis (1901) being towed in Bugsby's Reach after launching at the Thames Iron Works shipyard at Blackwall, London. She is being towed to the Royal Victoria Docks for fitting out and is dressed overall. An article in The Times newspaper says she was towed to the Royal Albert Dock but the photographer's note says Royal Victoria Dock. A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera B.
