Boxes of oranges being loaded on board the refrigerated cargo ship Maranga (1972) while alongside a quay at Brownsville, Texas. Three dockyard workers are grouped around a wooden pallet with boxes of oranges currently being lifted onto Maranga by one of her own pivot cranes. This is Slide 15 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Second Officer and later temporary Chief Officer on board the refrigerated cargo ship Maranga (1972) owned by Island Fruit Reefers Ltd and on charter to Salenrederierna from 28 September 1974 to 15 November 1974. The lecture consists of 23 slides.
