Boxes of oranges being stowed in No. 5 hold on board the refrigerated cargo ship Maranga (1972) while alongside a quay at Brownsville, Texas. A pile of boxes of oranges is in the foreground on the right hand side. This is Slide 21 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Second Officer and later temporary Chief Officer on board the refrigerated cargo ship Maranga (1972) owned by Island Fruit Reefers Ltd and on charter to Salenrederierna from 28 September 1974 to 15 November 1974. The lecture consists of 23 slides.
