A starboard side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the Chilean protected cruiser Chacabuco (1898) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. One of her boats is alongside the starboard forward boat boom and a Thames spritsail barge is alongside the starboard quarter. Awnings are rigged by the mainmast and over the quarterdeck. Gravesend is in the background. A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera A.
