A slightly distant starboard bow view of the Royal Navy armoured cruiser Leviathan (1901) at anchor in The Downs or the Thames Estuary. Her starboard anchor is deployed. She is the flagship of the Training Squadron. In the background are two Warrior class armoured cruisers of the 2nd Cruiser Squadron. The nearest vessel is believed to be the Achilles (1905).
