The wreck of a wooden vessel on the beach at Deal, Kent.
The wreck of a wooden vessel on the beach at Deal, Kent. The vessel has been driven ashore south of Deal Pier and is well broken. Lines have been attached to parts of the wreck, including the bowsprit, to prevent the wreckage being washed out to sea. The wreck is seen from off the port quarter. The photographer is looking north-north-east from the beach showing a large piece of wreckage in the foreground. A large number of people are on the beach and Deal Pier is in the background. Negatives numbers N18773 to N18777 are of the same wreck.
