A port bow view of the wreck of the three-masted barquentine Mary Ann (1863) off Sandown Castle, The Downs, Kent. She was blown ashore in a SE Force 9 gale on 29 September 1899 while on a voyage from North Shields to Cherbourg with coal. All of her masts are still standing and her furled sails are still on board. A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer was using Camera B. Negatives Numbers N18821 to N18827 were taken on the same day.
