Diving operations from a small open boat over the partially sunken wreck of the steamship Patria (1894) in The Downs, between Deal and Walmer, Kent. A diver is going over the starboard side of the clinker-built boat which is over the boat deck of the Patria. The Patria was wrecked on 17 November 1899 after being abandoned heavily on fire. A note on the negative says the photographer was using Camera B. Negatives Numbers N18848 to N18867 are of this wreck.
