A temporary boom is being used in the salvage and three men are using the hoisting hand winch. The Patria was wrecked on 17 November 1899 after being abandoned heavily on fire. A note on the negative says the photographer was using Camera B. Negatives Numbers N18848 to N18867 are of this wreck.
