A port side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of a full hull model of the 3-masted, lug rigged chasse maree Jupiter (G.416) of Gravelines. The depicted vessel is three-masted with a jib sail set on the bowsprit, a single dipping lug sail on the foremast, two square lug sails on the mainmast and a small square lug sail set on the port side of the stern, against the transom. Fittings include a boat between the fore and main masts, companion way cover, hatches with grey covers, conical-shaped capstan, port and starboard navigation lights rigged at the stern quarters and a rudder. The model is mounted on a pair of wooden crutches and displayed on a rectangular wooden baseboard. On port and starboard broadsides ‘G.416’. On stern ‘Jupiter Chavelines’.
