The photographer is looking south from the harbour mud with the tide out showing three rowing boats and three Calais registered fishing boats dried out. One of the fishing vessels has the port registry CAL 271. The Cafe Gorro and the Cafe de la Marine are on the quayside and the tower of le Beffroi in la place d'Armes is in the background.
