Six Kuwaiti men and women standing by local boats on the shore at Mina-al-Ahmadi, Kuwait. Three Kuwaiti men are standing inside or next to a small wooden rowing boat on the right hand side of the image. Two more Kuwaiti men and a woman are standing next to another wooden rowing boat on the left hand side of the image in the foreground. At least five unidentifiable vessels are alongside a long jetty in the background. This is Slide 25 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Senior Second Officer and Navigator on board the tanker Malwa (1961), owned by the P&O Group, from 14 November 1963 to 9 March 1964. The lecture consists of 75 slides.
