A slightly distant starboard quarter view of the chasse maree Providence (Fl. 1909) under sail in the River Aa at Petit Fort Philippe, Gravelines, France. She is bound out and has lug sails set on her fore and main masts. The port registry G.418 is on her hull and her mainsail. Other chasse maree and ketch rigged fishing vessels are moored on the west side of the channel. A note on the negative says that the photographer was using Camera B.
