A slightly distant starboard quarter view of the chasse maree Emelie (Fl. 1909) and the ketch Leon & Lucie (Fl. 1909) under sail in the River Aa at Petit Fort Philippe, Gravelines, France. They are bound out and ketch rigged fishing vessels are moored on the west side of the channel. The Emelie (Fl. 1909) has her port registry G.420 on her hull and mainsail. The Leon & Lucie (Fl. 1909) has her port registry on the hull but it is not legible. A note on the negative says that the photographer was using Camera B.
