This stamp bears a signature on behalf of the Chief Constructor, but it is illegible. The plan has also been noted and returned from Barrow Shipbuilding Works, dated 30 October 1884 and Clydebank Yard dated 17 September 1884. This plan relates to the ships Fearless (1886) and Scout (1885).
