A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the spritsail barge Atlantic (1884) dried out in Broadstairs harbour, Kent. Her hatch covers have been removed. Her boat is suspended under its davits which have been swung out. A boy on a horse is on the beach next to the bow of the barge. Small craft are dried out in the harbour sheltered by the breakwater. The photographer is looking east across the harbour. A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera A.
