A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the Dover ketch rigged fishing vessel Record (1881) under sail in The Downs off Deal. She has a jib, staysail, mainsail and mizzen sail set and is on the starboard tack, heading south. Her mainsail is second-hand, having previously been used on the vessel registered DR.7. Her port registry DR.13 is painted on the hull. Deal is in the background.
