Portsmouth Harbour seen from below the walls of Portchester Castle
Medium includes graphite. Inscribed 'Portchester' by Wyllie this is and on-the-spot study on a rather grey day looking south down the length of the harbour, with the dockyard on the left, from the shoreline under the outer walls of ruined Portchester Castle. Wyllie's grave is in the churchyard at Portchester, within the castle precincts.
